Houston Criminal Defense Lawyer

I have been a criminal defense lawyer my entire career. I have never been a prosecutor, nor have I ever wanted to be one. For the past 25 years I have defended people accused of crimes ranging from murder to drug conspiracies to DWI. I proudly served as president of The Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association in 2006-2007 and remain actively involved in the Texas legal community. During my term as president we placed a replica of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights in the foyer of the courthouse. These documents serve as a daily reminder of the rights we must all fight to protect.

When you contact my law office, I am the lawyer who will represent you; you won’t be passed off to a young, inexperienced attorney like some other law firms. When a case is going to trial, often I will involve my investigator as well as a second lawyer in order to build a strong defense team.
